The SATSA Animal Interaction Charter/Guidelines are a set of ethical standards by the Southern Africa Tourism Services Association (SATSA) to guide the tourism industry away from harmful captive wildlife experiences, focusing on banning activities like cub petting, predator walking, animal riding, and performances, while promoting genuine conservation and responsible tourism through a decision-making tool for visitors and operators.
Cullinan Central (subsidiary of Cullinan Holdings) agrees to abide by the ethical approach adopted by the guidelines to animal interactions thus ensuring we are on the right side of the ‘Line in the Sand’ and working with organisations considered acceptable based on this guide.
